A few days ago I tagged along on a field trip with LABA (Louisiana Birders Anonymous), a birding club from Lafayette, LA. Although I really enjoyed the experience, I never got close enough to any birds for my 100-400mm lens to produce high-quality images.
However, while inspecting my downloaded photos, something in one of them caught my eye. The above photo show one of several pairs of White-faced Ibises flying over the rain-flooded fields of a farm. The image quality is poor, but if you look at the cropped image of the bird on the left, shown below, you will see what I discovered.
